Located at 701 Vermont Route 100, South Duxbury, Vermont

I’m Looking for Summer Gardening Interns

I am looking for one or two interns to work with me this summer.  I have a small gardening business which keeps me very busy from April through October.  I can provide housing and food from the garden/herbs/flowers/seeds/and a small space to plant a garden of your own, if you’d like, in trade for 4 hours each day working with me in the gardens, and in rainy weather, indoor working with me in my wool business. Ideally you’d have your own transportation because we live in a rural area.  On the “ABOUT” section of this website, I wrote about my business, which tells you a lot about what I do.  If you have serious interest, please send me an e-mail (singspin@madriver.com) and tell me about yourself.  In the subject line write “Gardening Intern Position”.   Thank You, Carol

Welcome!

You might want to purchase a spinning wheel or drum carder, learn to spin, try out different wheels, find books, yarns or fiber to spin. You have come to the right place for all of this and much more.

Singing Spindle Spinnery, based in South Duxbury, Vermont, offers fiber arts lessons and sells a wide range of fiber art supplies, kits, finished products, and equipment. The Spinnery also sells herb tea and seeds, and in the warmer months you can find cut flowers, potted perennials, Jerusalem artichokes, rhubarb and prepared horseradish as well as my full product line including photo cards, craft kits, yarn and much more at the roadside stand on Route 100. I also love to write and read poetry. Please explore the website to learn more.

The Roadside Stand

In the warmer months, stop by our roadside stand on Route 100!
